5 ways to: start writing your journal

Hello Gang, we know you’re totally in love with our weekly journal and for this reason we’ve decided to post the five main rules to let you spread your creativity and finally start writing your journal (and maybe the next novel winning the Pulitzer). So, here we are:

  1. Choose the right tool: a white paper and a pencil, rather than a pen, this is because this is a ritual where manual skill has a great value.

  2.  Question time: every evening, before going to sleep, dedicate some minutes to listening to yourself and try to identify a moment of the past day that has remained imprinted on you, it can be both positive and negative. Once you’ve done it simply put it black on white, as a scene.

  3. Reflect on it: ask yourself why you’ve chosen that moment, work for associations and find out what emotions have been raised.

  4. Practice: exercise constantly on it, acquire more self-awareness and, above all, power over what happens every single day; the depth of what you write will increase through practice.

  5. Make some space: keep everything you need close at hand and remember to reserve a special place for your journal project.

 Again, you’re welcome.
